Nefeli Fragkaki is a MSc. student, at the Department of Pharmacy, holding a BSc degree of Chemistry from the University of Patras. During the year 2018-2019 she performed her Diploma Thesis at the Biomolecular Simulation and NMR spectroscopy laboratory, at the University of Patras, under the supervision of Dr. G.A. Spyroulias. She worked on viral polypeptides in the field of Molecular Biology and Analysis of biomolecules through Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (ΝΜR). Having obtained her BSc in 2019, in 2020 she entered the Postgraduate Studies Program, Drug Discovery and Development of Department of Pharmacy, and she keeps on performing her research activities with the same group in the framework of a Master Thesis. She is currently working on expression and purification of mutant polypeptides of E3 ubiquitin ligase “Arkadia” and their interaction with the E2 enzyme UbcH5b for NMR characterization. Moreover, she is studying the activity of the mutants via biochemical assays.
